FAQs

What do I need to bring to cycle class?

All you need is a water bottle, socks, and cycling shoes. If you do not own cycling shoes, we have free rentals that you can use for all of our classes. We also sell Tiems if you would like to purchase your own pair of cycle shoes.

We have bottle fillers and complimentary towels at the studio for all riders.

What kind of cycle shoes are required?

Our bikes take Look Delta and SPD clips

What should I wear to a cycle class?

We recommend moisture-wicking workout clothing. Some find using the gel padded bike shorts helpful, but they are definitely not required.

Is there a class for beginners?

Our classes are designed to accommodate all levels. You are in control of your speed and your resistance. You will be pushed to your own personal limits. Never taken a cycle class? Haven’t worked out in a long time? No worries! We are a community focused on meeting you exactly where you are. Indoor cycle classes can be challenging, but we strive to create a welcoming and accepting environment for everyone.

How do I know what my bike setting should be?

It is important that you come a little early to your first class so that our staff can do a proper bike fitting. We will teach you how to adjust your seat and handlebars to the appropriate setting for you.

Are all classes formatted the same?

No! We have several class formats to engage a variety of people and personal style preferences. We have 45 minute Rhythm Blocs that focus on riding to the beat of the music and allow for fun choreography on the bike. We also have 30 minute Power Blocs that focus on high intensity interval training and 45 minute Power and Rhythm Blocs that fuse both styles into one fun and challenging workout. Twice per week we offer a one hour Endurance Bloc for those that prefer a longer workout.

Do you have just cycle classes?

No way! We balance our cardio workout with mini blocs that focus on total body sculpting and core strength. Our Core Bloc focuses on strengthening the entire core, abs, and back. Our Sculpt Bloc incorporates full body strength training for arms, legs, and core.

Additionally, we partner with our neighbor, Omnibarre, to provide Barre, TRX and yoga classes to supplement your cycle experience. We have created fusion classes with Omnibarre that give you Power Bloc + TRX and Rhythm Bloc + Barre in a challenging 60-75 minute format. Our discounted combo (Bloc + Omnibarre) memberships allow you to enjoy all of the challenging and complementary classes.

Do I have to reserve a bike in advance of class?

Yes, we highly recommend you pre-register for all classes to ensure a bike is available when you arrive to the studio.  Additionally, when you register for your first class it alerts our instructors that new riders will be in class.  This helps us plan and ensure plenty of time to set you up prior to class starting.

The easiest way to reserve your spot is by using the MINDBODY app (search Bloc Cycle) or by selecting the “Classes – > Schedule” tab on our website.

Can kids hang out in the lobby during class?

Yes, if children can sit in the lobby with a book, iPad, or toy for the duration of class, they are welcome to hang out while mom or dad get in a workout.  We do not offer formal child care for little ones that cannot entertain themselves.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes, we currently offer all new clients one week of unlimited classes and shoe rentals for $1.

I loved my free week trial.  What are the pricing options now?

There are lots of ways to continue enjoying our classes.  We offer drop-ins, class packs, and no-contract memberships.  Our memberships are the most cost effective way to enjoy classes and are very flexible.  No contract or initiation fees!  Check out all of the pricing options on MINDBODY HERE.
